FINA
What is FINA ?
Fédération Internationale de Natation
The International Swimming Federation (FINA) was founded in 1908 not by an accident, but by intent. George W. Hearn, Secretary of M the Federation cites the creation of this international institution as the result of increased international contacts in sport, and especially to the TC of the Olympic Games. The way in which the tournament was held raised the opposition that resulted from the London International Conference on 19 June 1908. The fruit and fruit of this conference was TSIS FINA.with the outbreak of World War I، the progress of the young FINA organization stalled for at least 4 years, and even after the war, due to the cold between countries and sports relations, it was practically impossible for FINA to continue until 1925. With this time gone، the Federation reactivated. Thus, the FINA Executive was composed of 5 members so that they could conveniently gather at close intervals and the FINA office was established.in 1928, the International Water Polo board and the International Swimming Committee were established. At the FINA Congress that same year George W. Hearn, Secretary of mes FINA, stepped down and was elected as FINA's first honorary president. With the outbreak of World War II, continuous progress ceased again (1940-1945)، because the war prevented international contact in sport. With the end of the second tough war, it took more than a year for FINA Executive Heyen to gather in London on 14 June 1946. The period of World War II ended in 1950, and sports contacts grew more and more.in 1958, FINA celebrated its fiftieth anniversary. This year the number of FINA members had reached 75 national federations. In 1992 FINA members were upgraded to 137 national federations....
