The Independent Social Democratic party the Republic of Weimar was a political party in theelaman Empire and the Weimar Republic. The organization was created in 1917 as a result of the split of left-wing and anti-war members of the Social Democratic Party eleman (SPD). The party ended its work in 1931 through a merger with the Socialist Workers ' Party alaman (SAPD).
